Perform additional research based on feedback received, and make final decisions on ordering parts and components. This will include more powerful servos to propel the robot car faster than the current stock servos, higher traction wheels to grip the race course with a higher rotational speed, improved power supply, and finish line detection and stopping. At the start of next semester, we will begin assembly and testing of the vehicle, making optimizations as see fit (i.e. cutting corners, modifying chassis, etc).
