Matlab has proved itself to be a useful tool in creating antenna radiation fields. The next step is to use our model with the Tallysman antenna that our sponsor has used to recorded data. This should provide an idea of how accurate the simulation is compared to the actual operation in snow.

If the Tallysman model in Matlab is drastically different from the data recorded by NWB, then more time will be put towards creating a better representation. If the model does depict what has been confirmed in the field, the team will research an antenna shape as well as respective material that provides a more desirable gain pattern for use in snow.
