The RadSat mission, due to its complexity, extends beyond the length of the capstone class. The gantt chart below shows the deadlines for every major sub-system with in the satellite as well as overall mission deadlines. The NASA Undergraduate Student Instrument Project (USIP) and Nanoracks, the launch system provider, both require individual mission reviews. These reviews go beyond the scope of the capstone class but are a requirement for the RadSat mission and must be met before the satellite can be launched in 2018.

The undergraduate capstone component of RadSat is listed under the RadSat-u portion of the gantt chart and includes the major deliverables for the ionizing radiation detection sensor.
