SpaceBuoy Power System

Ffor small satellite applications…

Project Description:

This project will focus on designing an Electrical Power System (EPS) applicable for the SpaceBuoy mission as well as future small-satellite missions. The EPS includes the power regulation and control for the spacecraft, the flight-inhibit subsystem, solar arrays, batteries, and monitoring of power consumed by other spacecraft systems. The new EPS will omit some of the unnecessary functionality of previously designed systems, and add some features that will improve the overall performance and compatibility of the system. One of the main goals of this project is to create an EPS that is configurable for future SSEL small-satellite programs, in both Cubesat and Nanosat applications.
