Parallel Port Data to USB Converter

Project Description

This project consists of using an FPGA to create a device that will convert parallel printer communication
to a signal for a USB printer. This project will take the data sent from a parallel port on a computer to the
general purpose IO on the DE2 board and be converted to USB. This is going to be done on the MORPH IC II
board, made by FTDI Chip. It will also have a real-time clock so the data being printed can be time stamped.

The deliverable for this project is being able to print out the parallel port of a computer through this conversion.
