First Last Major Positions Statement
Subrata Aich CpE Chair, Vice-Chair, Secretary, Treasurer First of all I am very passionate about my major Computer Engineering. I am eager to work with other people who are passionate about their field of study. I believe that if passionate people get together they can bring a positive change to the society. Though I have no prior experience about running a group, I am open to the challenges I will face and most importantly I am excited to work for a group of passionate and talented people.  Subrata Aich
Shaun Baumchen EE Vice-Chair I have attended about 5 IEEE meetings since I enrolled at MSU. I enjoyed listening to a variety of EE presentations to discover more about what types of careers are out there for my major. I can assist this club with some great ideas and events for everyone to attend. Also, it would give me a chance to work on my leadership skills as I have not been on a club committee before.
Aaron Scherr EE Chair, Vice-Chair, Secretary, Treasurer Being a 6th semester junior in the EE program, I am well aware of what it means to be an electrical engineering college student. Since I have been here, there has not really been a dedicated student body interest group like IEEE that is specifically tailored to electrical engineers. The IEEE student chapter is a great addition to MSU and I would love to give back some of the blessings I have received in the form of leading this chapter before I graduate. I have a good relationship with many of the ECE staff and I know a bunch of people at MSU whom I call friends. Thus I feel, given my junior status, that I would be a great representative of the EE student body. I have not previously lead a club anything like this but will not disappoint if given the opportunity! Aaron Scherr
Steven Hamby EE Chair, Vice-Chair, Secretary, Treasurer I am passionate about electrical engineering and I want to engage our MSU student body with and active, organized, worthwhile IEEE student chapter. I will put my enthusiasm, dedication, and organization skills to work to make our IEEE chapter not only engaging and fun but professional relevant and stimulating. On your behalf I will make this organization a centerpiece where motivated and driven electrical engineers can collaborate and network on the topics and issues that are important to us. I have a breath of leadership and organizational experience ranging from the military, to public service and academics. Thank you for support. Steven Hamby
Norhan Abbas EE Secretary After spending almost one year in MSU, MSU has managed to make me catch the sense of belonging to the place; I found here everyone from the staff, faculty, the students, and the workers have the art of giving with no limitations. They give you what you really need and may need without even asking for. Accordingly, I’ve decided to do my best to incorporate my skills in a platform here in MSU. I strongly believe that IEEE is an honourable and a delightful chance that would bring the tangible Electrical world to the students. Throughout the past few years, I have worked in some NGOs on a voluntary basis and have been assigned to many leadership positions. As a previous Public Relations member in two Engineering clubs, I was able to well represent them and explain the different events in which the Engineering students can get lots of benefits integrating the real-world with the academic one. Also, I was able to represent the students’ voice during the high board meetings due to the fact that receiving feedback is one of the fastest and practical way to take further steps towards a better role in the community. Moreover, I was the responsible one to keep records of some dates for launching the offline and online campaigns that usually preced any event. Simply put, it’s my honor to take part in such a place that would definitely make a difference by you, me, and everybody else.  Norhan Abbas
Ambika Murali CpE Chair There are a few reasons for why I am interested in running for one of the IEEE officer positions. First of all, I will be bringing to the table solid leadership experiences that I gained throughout my high school life. I believe I still have these leadership skills are still evident in me. Over the past four years, I have led several clubs while in high school, including the Junior Statesmen of America chapter, Close Up club, and HOSA chapter. IEEE club at MSU would be a great opportunity to continue my "lead roles", especially since I am a computer engineering major working towards a double major in both computer and electrical engineering. Also, I have connections with relatives who work for huge companies and have been successful, and I can bring forth these links if they will be of any help to the organization. Other than that, this is a great opportunity for me to provide service to my department, as well as MSU students.
Robert Tiller EE, CpE Chair, Vice-Chair I am currently attending MSU in pursuit of another B.S. degree. My first degree was a Mathematics and Physics degrees with emphasis on education. I have been teaching classes, tutoring students, substitute teaching in High Schools, helping lead conferences and assisting leaders since I was 14 years old. I have been involved in set-up and administration of many events, camps, conferences and hosting guest speakers. I have come to love the process of hosting events and the gratification of seeing us all come together with a common goal in mind. Since hearing about the IEEE Club at MSU I immediately had ideas, recommendations, and hopes for a club like this at MSU and would love to be a part of establishing this club for us and future students.  Rpbert Tiller
Levi Allery EE Chair, Vice-Chair Since coming to Dr. Maher a few months back about a Solar Car Project, I have been wanting to get together a group of ECE students. I am motivated to help make the ECE department stand out as one of the best departments here at MSU. My goal is for the students in the ECE department to become more engaged and get real world experiences by participating in IEEE activities and projects.  Levi Allery
Alex Polyanskiy EE Treasurer I think an officer position in IEEE is a great way to get more involved in my major, share my ideas, and make a difference at MSU. I would make an substantial contribution to the treasure position because I am financially educated and I am on the ASMSU finance board. Along with that, I believe IEEE could bring a lot to MSU and I want to be part of the group of students who make it happen.  Alex Polyanskiy
Victoria Royal EE Vice-Chair, Secretary, Treasurer I don't have any prior experience with leadership positions like this, but I am very excited about being part of this organization, meeting my peers in the department, and want to be a part of this organization for all of my years at MSU.  Tori Royal
